About
I am an adjunct professor in dance studies, and I am working as a university lecturer of ethnomusicology at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Tampere. My areas of expertise include theory and methodology in dance anthropology, dance-music interface, the research of Finnish-Karelian folk dances and ancient dance music as well as Nordic dance and music revitalization. I also teach folk dances and research methodology at the Oulu University of Applied Science.
